There is such a situation that John often encounters, that is, the customer feedback that the magnetic value of the magnet meter tested by our manufacturer is not the same as that tested by them, saying that ours should be 100-200 Gauss lower. First of all, it is the difference between domestic and Japanese Gauss meters. Generally, the value measured by Japanese Gauss meter is 200 GS higher than that measured by domestic Gauss meter.

At present, most of the Gauss meters we use are based on Hall principle for magnetic measurement, and Hall sensor is used as magnetic induction element. Users may find this problem, even at the same point, using different types of probes will produce different measurement results. This is not a measurement error, but a result of the different dimensions of the hall sensor. According to different needs, it is particularly important to select the Gauss meter and the corresponding probe correctly.
So this is also the disadvantage of Gauss meter. The value measured by Gauss meter is related to many factors.
